Ukraine is a country located in Eastern Europe. As the second largest country in Europe in terms of land area, Ukraine shares borders with European countries such as Russia to the east, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, and Romania. It also has a coastline along the Black Sea.

The industrial sector is strong in areas such as mining, metallurgy, mechanical engineering, and chemicals. Ukraine possesses natural resources including coal, iron ore, natural gas, and oil.

The annexation of Crimea by Russia in 2014 and the separatist movements in eastern Ukraine have led to political and military tensions in the country. These events have sparked international debates concerning Ukraine’s territorial integrity.
